Stars of Tomorrow Soccer and Enrichment efforts focus on
mentorship, preventing juvenile delinquency, and using sport as a vehicle to combat childhood obesity
and promote healthy lifestyles for children living in underserved communities. SOT Program core values
are straightly built on the Soccer for Success model. The focuses are physical activity, mentorship,
nutritional education, preventing youth delinquency, and community engagement to help provide
youth with safe and accessible places to play – a critical need particularly in underserved
communities.

HEALTHY LIVING
Kids attend Stars of Tomorrow Soccer Enrichment after school two times a week throughout the
academic year. Participants learn about eating right and other ways to stay healthy, and they gain
important decision-making and relationship skills from their interactions with coach-mentors and peers.

MENTORSHIP
Stars of Tomorrow Soccer Enrichment coaches are also mentors. They teach kids the fundamentals of
soccer, but also strive to help children build their confidence and recognize the value of hard work,
teamwork concept, respect, discipline and persistence in achieving personal goals. By learning what it
takes to play a team sport, kids are also being prepared to be productive citizens.

COMMUNITY-FOCUSED
The lessons Stars of Tomorrow Soccer Enrichment teaches don’t stop on the field. Coach-mentors meet
with families regularly to educate parents and guardians about how to embrace an active and healthy
lifestyle and nurture their child’s personal growth.
